Stefan Wendin

Head of Intelligent Systems, Research Institutes of Sweden

Head of Intelligent Systems at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden, with a focus on the Deep Learning Research Group and Language Intelligence Lab. He is actively contributing to building next generation GIGA HPC/AI infrastructure for sovereign AI in Sweden and the EU. Wendin has most recently served as a Chief Operating Officer at Stealth Startup, an AI Innovation Officer and Strategic Advisor at consulting firm You Don’t Know What You Know, and AI Advisor at data infrastructure and analytics company DUCK. Stefan has an extensive background ranging from business development to leadership, and he brings years of expertise in AI as well as innovation.
